I don't regret selling my 5th Gen, but I do miss it. Here's some pics I never shared.

A 2007 GMC Sierra Duramax(LBZ). I sold the 4R for $32.5K and bought the truck for $20k, so the extra cash in the bank is the main reason I did it. It tows better (obviously), gets the same gas mileage, and is faster (in a straight line).
Clearly it's inferior to the 4R in a lot of ways, but it can still handle light trails and get to camping spots and stuff, so all in all it was worthwhile. But I'll always miss my 5th gen, and I'm sure I'll have another Yota some day...

Nothing wrong with that decision. I'd rather have money in the bank.

Is it 06 or 07 Duramax that are worth so much. Those things hold their value like nothing else.....Think it might be 06. Was looking for one not long ago and was blown away by the prices...

Agreed, and that hasn't changed since the 07' particulate laws were put in place. I cannot wait to put a diesel in my 4R... Come on Lottery...

That's correct. It's the 2006 and the 2007 "Classic", which is the engine code LBZ. Starting in 2007 (non-"Classic" aka the new body style) was when they introduced the version with the added emissions technology that requires DEF fluid.
