But I love my '02 4Runner. I bought it this October to use as a mountain beast for skiing and hiking in the Pacific NW. I took it to Bend for Xmas weekend and it was so great. I've never had that much space in a car before and it handled all of the snow, etc., perfectly (Blizzaks). I wish I had bought one sooner. Here it is at the Trillium Lake sno-park earlier this month.
The only downside is that the check engine/VSC lights came on 20 minutes into the drive home. I had an auto parts place run a diagnostic and it is the p0420 code, which sounds like an O2 sensor or catalytic converter. Hopefully that's all it is and I can get back to taking advantage of this great ski season.
