I H8 Mud :(

We were up at a buddies cottage in Buckhorn this weekend, had a blast friday and saturday, then decided to go offroading on sunday when it started pouring rain.

We decided to just head in to old logging and have a leisurely drive, which was going great until the jeep I was with decided to try the remnants of that big hole, he went in a couple feet, got stuck. Rocked it back and forth for 5 minutes and was finally able to get out

That was my first attempt. After reversing out I was challenged to try a second time, and I had to say yes because If I made it through I would never hear another Toyota comment again, unfortunately I didn't.

The truck kept going most the way through old logging road where it overheated, and we realized I cracked my radiator.

Had to get towed all the way through the trail and out to the main road.




Got a nice new Koyo rad and tranny cooler installed as a result, so life goes on!

well glad u were able to get out. how is your skid plate? did it get jacked up of all trying to reverse?

Me too. Mud is for country boys in Chebby trucks with big tires and huge useless lifts. (I'm a country boy but outgrew the fascination with mud decades ago.)

Lol, I'm right there with ya. I think my T4R laughs alittle everytime I drive past that huge dirty wreck that use to be my K5.
Mud is just a pit to throw expensive parts into, Glad I'm over that.

Mud is a beotch to clean off,but if you dont like "clean" then the heck with it,I have to admit green and mud do match well,my problem is after years of mudding my brain is programmed to see if "I can make it" thru the offending sloppy matter,is there medication for that?

Yeah, if it's in the way you have to go through it. I just don't care to go looking for it.
