I just wanted to say that I love Toyota design!

I just replaced the the anti-rattle springs on my TBU because they broke (just bought a few month's ago >:|) and I was sitting there next to the rig thinking to myself how great Toyota designs are. Granted this is a simple procedure-it only took me a few minutes to do, BUT no taking off the caliper to get to the pads like in other cars. I LOVE MY 4RUNNER! Simple and sturdy!

Oil filter, starter, license plate bezel, axle seals.....

But in general, I agree they are well designed and pretty easy to work on for the most part.

There are worse for sure...

LMAO. I should have you both come over to my place and change the oil in my 87 Toyo Van. If you think the 4runner filter is hard you have no idea.

I have to remove the tire and the splash guards on my Nissan to change that one. 4Runner is a piece of cake compared. Just do it finger tight and it's easy to take off. Oil filters don't have much pressure so you have to try hard to get it to leak.
