I need your help creating a Toyota film

Hello,

I have plans to create a short film showcasing the adventure culture Toyota has created with their 4x4 vehicles. The film is for my own personal pleasure, but I want to contact Toyota Marketing about the idea once the video is completed.

I need footage. I live in the northern Colorado front range. If you want some sick footage of your rig, let me know. If you would allow me to meet up with you, you could have the original footage of your vehicle in return and allow me to use the footage in the film I am creating. I thought maybe we could go out to your favorite spot or trail and get some shots there. I wanna film all types of 4x4, no matter the modifications, year, or condition. I wanna film overloading, 4x4, adventure trailers, roof top tents, vehicles with fully suspended bikes on the back, or kayaks on the roof, etc. I want to highlight in the film the culture that surrounds Toyota 4x4.


I am not a professional film maker, I use my iPhone X with basic camera gear and it works fine. I have ambitions of being a more successful film maker and I am in the early stages of this process. We are doing an internal thing right now where people are submitting their Toyotas/Lexus in adventurous places. Just an employee sharing program. I'm sure there are plenty of people here that would enjoy the video.

I’m down in Pueblo and can always meet in Colorado Springs or somewhere nearby if you wanna do any shots with my truck. We mountain bike, paddle board, rock climb so I am sure we can figure some good stuff out.

You should be in Ouray Colorado right now. Plenty of 4runners at the FJ Summit and I’m sure at least a few of them would let you record them. Not to mention that the mountains around there have the best scenery in the world.

You guys rock! I’ll send PM’s. I went to the Toytec store in Denver yesterday to pick up some parts and ended up talking to someone there about my project, he said he could hook me up as well. Those toytec guys are great. I felt like I was in a magical wonderland full of off road parts and roof top tents.

You could consider interspersing the short video clips with still images. There's about a million and two good pics of 4Rs doing cool off road shit on this forum alone, I am sure most anyone would allow you to use their stuff in film.
