I was tired of all the "crap" RTT's, so I made my own. - TERRAPOD!

Well...look what we have here.

Terrapod RTTx Release & the Covid-19:

A quick note. The team at Terrapod are watching the present scenario very closely. To date, Terrapod has worked hard to prepare and is primed, ready to go.

Then the Coronavirus happened.

Unfortunate events surrounding the Covid-19 virus is directly impacting supply chains, materials suppliers and our potential customers in a dramatic way.

At present, the RTTx Extreme Roof Top Tent is still being primed for release. We will be continuing forward with a Kickstarter campaign to provide a tool for pre-orders and determining a best-course of action.

In the meantime, the final production model is being prepared for showing and should be ready for viewing in the coming week or so.
Till then - please be smart, be safe and take care of those around you who need assistance in this very challenging time.

I'm 6'4" I like the big bulky RTTs. My problem is the number of trips to justify the purchase then the hassle of storage when not in use.
 
UPDATE: Covid-19 caused the supply chain to take a giant dump. Nearly all vendors and partners were shut down as they were marked as "non-essential". We were notified last week, by a number of them, they were opening back up for business. Many mentioned if they shipped their products during the shutdown, they would have been fined by their respective locations'.

So..where are we today? We have started the engines back up and are working to get the parts needed for a run of the first 50 units. We have to line up a facility (again)...and determine the best place to not only build these, but accept shipments and grow. Once we have a better idea on the timeline...I will post up another update.

Thanks all. We appreciate the enthusiasm and the increase in following over the course of the shutdown. The tent is coming.

Update 06/08/20:

Lots happening.
- Parts are getting quoted
- Materials are lining up.
- We sign the lease on our new assembly space!

Oh yeah! It's happening people!
More news very soon. Stay tuned.

Hello there again!
Can you pleas give us update , I need tent ASAP . I’m planing some trips and I would like to know if I can get your tent before I hit the road . Any input I’ll appreciate. Thanks

The Terrapod guys are obviously doing their best to get this into production, so buy a temporary tent until then.
