Iac valve

I took off and cleanded the iac valve on my 2000 about a month ago. Before this every time I started my car warm it would run bad. After cleaning It idles great. I get the same bad start warm maybe once a week now but it onlynlast for a few seconds. Do I need a whole new iac valve?

I'd rather not buy a new one. It's a pain to take it off. Does this problem still sound like an iac valve since I already cleaned it.

Sounds like a another problem. may be a bad plug or plug wire. Is the check engine light on?

You want to take it some place to have the codes read.

Other things to consider that are easy to access are your MAF and TPS.
