I'm having the same problem with nearly the same setup. Metal on metal knocking from front passenger coilover, whenever the suspension cycles. It's driving me crazy. Did you ever track down the noise? Mine happens at low speeds, even over tiny bumps/cracks in the road, and it doesn't matter if I'm turning or not. Off-road it's unbearable, even a graded fire road makes a racket. I removed the sway bar and front skids for a while and it didn't make a difference. I wanna believe it's not the Icons, but this started the first time they saw the dirt.

If it's your sway bar rubbing the coilover, I ran into the same issue with my Radflo kit long ago.

The issue is that the swaybar is sliding side to side because the collars are loose.

Ended up buying aftermarket swaybar collars and setting my clearance and then tightening them down. Though I don't remember where I got them from... I think they were for a Jeep? Just measure the diameter of your swaybar and look for matching collars.

I'm having a similar problem that I've been chasing for months. I haven't been able to figure out what's going on. I did find out that one of my new coil over was leaking and has to be rebuilt. Not what I wanted to hear after buying a brand new icon setup but it has to be fixed. Mine doesn't happen all the time and I used a GoPro and took a bunch of video of different components. The videos didn't really help in my case.

Some guys are just telling me it's inherent to lifting a vehicle and offroading with it but I don't accept that.

Well I had one of my shocks taken apart today and the inner shaft bolt was completely loose! Icon isn't sure what could have happened yet. But it was definitely causing lots of noises and issues. Now that is fixed it drives and feels so much smoother already. You can see in the picture the gap that is not supposed to be there.

I think of kings being in a differnet class all together especially for the price. Kings are a racing breed.

The guy that rebuilt it for me builds Baja vehicles and he's seen odd things like this across the board through fox, king, and icon.

UPDATE: I replaced a few parts and the noise is still the same. The parts I replaced were front passenger CV and both LCAs with cam bolts (all Toyota parts). While I was in there I checked the spherical bearings and heim joints for play. They were tight AF. There is a LITTLE bit of play (~1mm) between the misalignment spacers and the lower shock mounts. I also had the Icons charged with nitrogen. It's basically down to the Icons now, which is disappointing since this has been happening since about a month after I installed them. I'll be bringing them in for a rebuild after the holidays, and will update then.

Anxious to here the results. Having the same issue. 4 wheel parts, installed the lift, are replacing the passenger side springs. Of course it's a wait.

Had the Icons rebuilt, added 700 lb Eibachs coils (recently added bumper and winch), and the noise is gone.

How are you liking the 700lb springs? Did you re-valve on the rebuild? What bumper/winch combo you running? I've got 700lb spring sitting on my bench but I've been hesitant to install them.
