How much lift are you running for starters? Everybody that makes adjustable pan hard bars are using heim joints but me. I'm making mine with Summit Flex Joints, which in my opinion are a lot better than heims.

I've had one for about 4 years. It is a good, solid piece. Having had it for a while and with different lifts, I wish it were double adjustable, with rod ends on both ends. As is, I have been lucky to have my rear alignment correct when I bolted it in...checked at the alignment shop. Otherwise, if your rear alignment is off (dog tracking) you must go to an alignment shop, remove the ICON bar, use a come-a-long to center the rear end and body into the correct position, adjust the bar, then bolt it in.
If you had a double adjustable, you could adjust the length with it still bolted in. You STILL should have it checked and adjusted at the alignment shop.
I live in a pretty harsh environment for vehicles, it is on my daily driver, and it has held up well. I spray it with a dry lube every month, or so.

No experience with the Icon, but I had the 3rd gen version of this on my '97. No Heim joints and adjustable on both ends. Really made my 3rd gen handle better over bumps.
