Icon stage 1

I'm looking to get the Icon stage 1 kit for my 2016 t4r. I wanted to get some feedback on how you like them or any problems. I heard stories they failed in 3 months with just daily driving and light off roading or the top plate cracks easy. Is $1650 a good price for the Icon stage 1?

Do yourself a favor and go with the ToyTec 2.5s. The stories you have heard are true. I had Icons on my FJ for 3 years and had them rebuilt 6 times. There seems to be undersized shock shaft issues, or gasket issues, or some other QC issue that they cant seem to chase. The bushing they supply for where the coilover mounts in to the LCA are too short. If you tighten them down you will bend the tabs in. Not only are their coilover notoriously bad, if you go with the Icon tubular UCAs the washers they supply are undersized and will eat in to the bushings overtime causing play in the UCA.

Mine rode like crap, super harsh and jarring going over speed bumps etc. Swapped mine out for Kings at just 10k miles on them and never looked back.
