Idle issues .... No check engine light... Please help

I would first like to start off and apologize for bringing up this topic again... Reason being my problem is a bit different but same ballpark.... Anyway you guys are awesome and have knowledge I want. I have a 96 limited(3.4 obviously , auto) 187,000. Car has been maintain incredibly it's whole life and has not been off-roaded. When I bought it I noticed it had a somewhat low idle ( in park - 650...in drive-525-550) but it was consistent. Anyway did the cleaning of the maf cleaning and throttle body.... Well that made things worse. FYI I know the idle is low because this is my 4th 4Runner and 3 being 3rd gens. So I ended up pulling throttle body and iac off and long story short I replaced iac , throttle body spacer( oem toyota) and iac gasket and both throttle body and iac( new) are spotless. Symptoms are when I start the truck for first time of the day it doesn't go above 1000 rpm... It use to and should go to 1400 before I cleaned the mass air flow and throttle body the first time. And when the truck is warm and I start it, it goes to about 750 then drops to 500 then goes to 650. Along with the low idle in park(525-550) and the starting rpm issues I just explained are my " problems". Truck runs great gets good gas mileage no cel had plugs done at 120,000. My thought is ... I have pulled the throttle body off then taken the iac off and cleaned and checked about 4 different times and every time I get it back together the Rpms are different... They were back to normal after one tear down then at about 1000, so I am unknowingly triggering something. Low idle in drive is consistent though... Never got better. I did disconnect the battery every time and reset the computer every time...my next thought is throttle position sensor ..... Any thoughts.......

I had a rough idle when I bought my rig. The only thing I had a chance to do was change the fuel filter. Now it idles a hell of a lot better, now I just need to install my plugs and do all the work you've done to try and get it right.

My point: you've done a lot of work but look outside the box at the bigger picture.

It's also hard to help work on your car via the interwebs.

Rockboost.... Sorry for not responding quicker I couldn't find my thread haha. But anyway Thankyou for the answer ... I like how you just seemed cool about it... But anyway I am thinking throttle position sensor but I really am done with it... I am taking it in Monday and hopefully they can fix it... But like I said it runs great but it's a battle now ... Like it eats at me. Basically I don't know and don't want to learn how right now to use an ohm tester haha... But anyway I hope you figure yours out....
