iMac PRO...anyone have it? Opinions?

Edit my 4k video? Imovie. I am still in infancy for these things.

You should try using Premiere. FAR superior. And really not that complicated to use. It will seem overwhelming at first, but with the amount of online resources and that I assume what you are looking to do is not that involved, it won't take long to pick up the basics. One big benefit is there's no need to convert your files.

Just installed VESA mount for iMac Pro. Wow...idiot proof installation.

Because my wife complained of neck strain from using iMac, I got this adjustable stand. Not the best looking, but very functional.

iMac PRO Vega 56 vs. 64 GPU: https://www.gamersnexus.net/guides/3053-vega-64-vs-vega-56-clock-for-clock-shader-differences

“As for the shaders, it looks like there’s not a big difference for the games we tested. There’s probably an application out there that likes the extra shaders, but for gamers, we’d say hard pass on Vega 64 and strongly consider Vega 56 as a highly modifiable counter.“

And follow-up testing with overclocking: https://www.gamersnexus.net/guides/3072-vega-56-vs-vega-64-at-same-clocks-part-2-revisit

Basically, in gaming, there is not much difference b/w the two.

1 year later, iMac Pro is now faster due to better software optimizations.
