The expensive lights will typically be higher quality. They are also way more expensive. Is it worth it? Only your pocket book can answer that. I run cheap Kawell lights. Easily replaced if broken or stolen. I also run smaller lights on my Dodge truck and Jeep. Jeeps call them rock lights. Toyota people usually say ditch lights. I have about ten lights on my Dodge. 14 +/- lights on my Jeep. Amp draw is about 1amp each. Everything is fused and relayed.
I buy Kawell. However, I suspect the same Chinese maker stamps many names on their products. Most of my lights are Flood. A few are Spot. They make many sizes. I added lights for close proximity. Not into high speed at night.

I understand the recognized name brands are of higher quality. I know all about designing LED lighting, optics, binning processes, etc.
At this present time though, the wallet and the boss have a few other ideas [emoji6]

some if it is name brand BS but some products are significantly better in overall quality.
I went with Rigid for the 10" only because I was unsure of the fitment with other brands on the hood scoop mount.
But for the lower 32" I wanted the "highest quality" light (in the sub $500 class)
after reading extensive reviews and testimonials I settled on the Opt-7 C2 size.
I was somewhat limited by the 32" spacing on the brackets for the lower mount but could have ran a spacer off either side to accommodate.
Overall, the light output, quality (warranty), and price won me over.
The main complaint you hear with light bars in general (aside from output & build quality) is the condensation issue. many use a cheap housing or gasket material and after a drive in the rain your new light is worthless without pulling it apart to dry/reseal. With the C2 series they implemented a moisture evaporation valve which eliminates any chance of condensation buildup. Both throw tons of light and use same/similar build materials.
