I have a bunch of loose stuff going on with my '97, after the SS lift I had the front control arm bushings replaced and an alignment done. the shop says I was due for a left lower ball joint and left front inner rack end.......is this the same as a tie-rod end?? plan is to order all the parts and find someone down here to do the installation. I need rear control arm bushings, (the right side has a ton of play) lower balljoints and tie-rod ends. anything else I should be ordering at this juncture? thanks folks!

What they're calling a "front inner rack end" is really an inner tie rod. #3 in this diagram Steering Gear & Linkage for 2000 Toyota 4Runner | Toyota Parts

Just to ensure it’s been said, make sure you order the passenger side tie rods and LBJ (Japanese made OEM or Sankei 555 -NOT Moog) since they’re not far behind. Good luck with the maintenance items!
