Installing my OME 881/906 on Tuesday! Alignment ?'s

Finally got everything together and will be installing on Thursday! I went with the 881's in front and the 906's in the rear, wanted as little lift as possible with the OME progressive rate springs... As for the alignment question, I will be needing to do the alignment with just the front coils installed (a la pre runner...) the reason for this is too long and complicated to explain. I am wondering if this is going to affect the alignment after I install the rear springs? Thank You! I will be sure to post pics as well.

Yes it will affect it. I'd try & wait.

Yeah, the back doesn't have any alignment adjustments, but the frame will sit at a different angle once you get the rear springs on, which affects the front end.

make sure to drive it around for a couple days if not a week or two before getting the alignment done just so the springs have some time to "settle" after being installed.

I talked to the alignment shop, they are going to align it with the front springs on, I am going to take it home and install the rear springs, drive it for a week or so then take it back and they will realign it, free of charge... Glad I asked you guys about the negative rake problem

theres no alignment for the rear u change anything to the front it needs to be done

I know there is no alignment for the rear.

My question was pertaining to wether having the front end 2 inches higher than the rear would affect my front alignment after I leveled out the rear by raising it 2 inches after completing the front alignment.

Hope that clarifies things a little bit...

i wouldint think it would affect the front

The only thing I can think of would be the caster, camber and toe shouldn't be affected.
