Installing new starter w/ TRD headers!?

Has anyone changed a starter on a T4R with TRD headers on the vehicle. Before I went through the trouble of taking the headers off I was wondering if there was a way around them.

its for edelbrock headers, but i dont think there would be much difference in clearance. i have stock headers, and it took A LOT of twisting and maneuvering to remove that sucker with the collector in place. all i can say is GOOD LUCK!

Hey thanks for the reply. It looks just about the same and we'll see how it goes this weekend!!! Can't wait to get 'er back out on the road or off it for that matter!

one thing before you put it in. are you sure its the starter, or is it the starter contacts? a lot of times it is just the contacts if it is intermittent, which they cost only around 12 bucks a pair from toyota. thats what mine ended up being, havent had a problem with it since.
