installing piaa atp lights

did you buy the lights new?

If so then it should have a toogle switch and a relay box. If you bought it used without these components then you were ripped off.

Ok so there is some confusion on my end.

Does the PIAA 520 light system in your possession have any* kind of switch? If not, are there wires attached that would normally go to the switch? It should be a cord with a small black push button at the end that has a single green/red light.

It does not come with a Toyota style switch, you would have to buy that separately from the dealer, strip the PIAA wires and clip them onto the Toyota switch.

yes it has the black wire that has a little push button on the end with the red/green light. that is what i am trying to ask. is how that hooks up. because i thought they all hooked up to a toggle switch. sorry about the confusion. and thanks for the help. Sick runner.

Thanks! You will want to buy the Toyota OEM switch. I don't have the part number but you can find it pretty easily if you do a search for Toyota switch.

Install the lights, relay and PIAA switch, running the switch cord through the firewall and into the dash where the switch will be. Once you verify the lights work, cut the switch and connect the wire to the back of the Toyota switch using spade crimps.
