Interchangable Parts 97-99

Hello guys. So I just bought a 97 sr5 4runner. I am thinking of buying a parts truck for it and came across a 99 sr5 for 800$ with a solid frame, newer motor,and solid axles. Would most parts be interchangeable? My rear axle is super rusted and Im thinking I might have to do a swap soon so I figure I might as well have a parts truck kicking around.

$800 bucks is a hell of deal for a parts truck. What is wrong with the parts truck and what is missing? Depending on when it was manufactured in 99 I think the only real big difference is the interior, and a breather hose on the intake.

as far as I know its all the electrical and brake lines that are missing.I think he just bought a working condition engine with about 100k on it, bolted it in but hasnt rigged it up yet. Im going to have a look soon though and see how it is.

Where is it located ? Is it from up north. Rust ?

located in NB. Mine is full of rust on the frame and rear axle but the parts one is quite solid.

I paid 800 for my engine alone with 67k on it.

800 for the whole damn thing is a steal.

Get it!! You will make your money back if the interior and body are in decent condition.
