Those look sweet! I would be very interested in some etching on stainless steel cups. I'd be interested in the glass etching too, but I'm a lot like a bull in a china shop so every time I break glassware I just replace it with stainless steel :cheers:
When you get a price nailed down I can just order some Klean Canteens to your door for some awesomification
It's almost like a powder coat. You paint a solution onto the cup, put it in the laser, and it "bakes" the image into it.
I can literally do just about any design, only thing is it's going to come out black & clear(back ground color), with shades of grey.
The laser picks up LITERALLY every color, and turns it into a grey scale.
How many would you be looking at getting done?
What is in the bottom picture with the skull hand? I would totally buy 5-10 of those if they're stickers.
That's something I found on a Heep website and made edited it to be blank. Came out pretty clean IMHO. I can't do stickers in the laser, the vinyl releases Chlorine gas(poisonous), or hydrochloride gas, which interacts with the moisture in the air and creates Hydrochloric Acid, which will destroy the machine.
I can make plaques out of steel, aluminum, ect, or put it onto a piece of wood or paper, make you a stencil, or whatever else, just can't do vinyl decals.
Which sucks ass. :/
Im seriously considering getting into graphic design and such. This is kinda fun.
