Good Price? Hard to say, good chance they'll get it or close to it, something is worth what the market is willing to bear. Having said that, there's no way I would pay that for a used 4Runner when it's so close to the price of new. The justification (for me) for buying 1-2 year old used cars is to let someone else take that giant depreciation hit when you drive it off the lot. 4Runners and Tacomas seem to be immune to that effect - that makes me buy new.

I agree with David's comments and that is why I bought a new one instead of used. Mine is an SR5 I just got this past week. Knowing that they will discount those about $2,700 +/- for cloth brought mine down to $32,500. I didn't get a lot of bells and whistles though. But it came standard with many items I wouldn't have thought to add. The only options on mine were: running boards, cross bars on the roof rack and floor mats. I'm pretty simple and didn't want/need all the goodies that come with the more upscale versions. Where am I going here...

If you can see what the one you're looking at originally listed for and then estimate the standard discount they would give on it; and compare that to a new one just like it and a discount they would give on it (it might be in the $5K range since there's more to work with), that might help determine if it's a good deal.

4Runners definitely hold their value and I did find the used prices were very close to the new prices after dealer discounts. My thought is, take some time and decide what you want in a 4Runner. What must you have? What can you live without? Then compare the different price points. Maybe this one has everything you've ever wanted and it might be a good price for it too?

You may also want to check out kbb.com and Edmunds.com true market value calculator to get an idea what they are worth in your area. I find them ball park helpful if in doubt!

Price is consistent with or better than what is available on autotrader.com or cars.com. Bigger city dealers want a hell of a lot more.

New Limiteds invoice for around $38,500 without auto running boards or big JBL stereo; so this one is depreciated about 10%. Plus it's certified.

Sounds like a good deal to me (work 'em for a few more bucks).

On Saturday, I bought a 2012 Limited with auto running boards and 20,861 miles. Not certified. Paid $32,517 before TTL. And I drove 2 1/2 hours to get it.

$300? What a joke! It'd be over $3000 in Nova Scotia. Be careful Americans, don't vote for big government and entitlements!

OP: Paid $43k CDN for a brand new leftover fully loaded Limited back in March if that helps your decision at all lol. Be thankful

In March i paid 35,700 for a Limited 2012 w/ 4x4. Truck had 9k, running boards and was certified. I'm in Silicon Valley as well. I think its a decent deal, but can probably do better.

I used to live down the road from that dealer and thought the sales staff were very pushy and I decided to go elsewhere. I tried to get some service there once for my Tacoma as it was so close to my house and convenient but they were flat out rude so I went elsewhere. Never went back.
I now live in Oregon and paid NO TAX when I bought my 2012 SR5 late last year. The dealer here has been awesome.
Back to your question. As mentioned above for a little more you could go new and that would be my preference if it were me. Come to Oregon, save the tax and get a new one.
