Interesting find doing timing belt change

Thanks to Youtube I decided to take on changing my timing belt, water pump, serpentine etc etc etc. It went well with hardest part being moving the a/c compressor. I also changed the spark plugs and was amazed to find that all the plugs looked great. There were 100k miles on them and all 8 plugs looked exactly the same and almost lime new. They all were still at the new .043 gap. To me this was amazing and something I have never seen. Also when removing the radiator a little tranny fluid dripped out and it also was nearly the bright red color of new fluid. There is 97k miles on the Amsoil atf and I was planning on doing a fluid exchange tomorrow. I have the fluid and was planning on doing the exchange tomorrow, but now not so sure I should. What do you all think?

I'm torn on this as two conflicting time honored sayings come to mind:

1. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
2. Fresh fluids are always a good idea.

Either way I think you are good.

I agree. Fluid looks fresh and clean yet it has almost 100k on it. I think I will change it since I already have the fluid and then I know it will be good to 300k I'm sure, or until it rusts out.
