I've got a beloved 2005 Gen 4 in diesel with the intercooled, turbocharged 1KZ-TE diesel engine, coupled with an Aisin AW Co. Model 30-43LE automatic trans. The trans needs a new ATF pan (35106-35120) and new ATF cooling tube (32922-60300) owing to leaking ATF. I've gooped it all up with epoxy, but it is more of a static fix than a dynamic fix. I'm experiencing some difficulty getting the real McCoy parts from Japan from Megazip and Amayama. I'm hoping to get some from Be Forward, but frankly, I won't be uncorking the champagne until I see it with my own eyes. Surely (Shirley???) some of you all have had to slug it out in a similar fashion. I'm looking for an international thread on this forum for folks with similar problems, but I'm open to any and all suggestions. The USA doesn't like diesel 4Runners and dealers won't even talk to you. Any proposed solutions are entertained and appreciated at this point.

There's an outfit on youtube; Fourby4Diesel that has a series of vidoes on various topics but a lot on Toyota diesels. They are out of Australia, but he will respond to comments on his videos. You might try him (Anthony).
