Spot on, haha. The Audi is a fun car to drive, but the build quality leaves much to be desired. It's a great looking piece of shit at the end of the day lol

Update!

The truck arrived about 3 weeks ago.

Since then:
1) Xenon depot HID kit
2) Cornfed 1 inch front leveling kit
3) Spidertraxx wheel spacers
4) front window tint
5) rear emblem blaack outs
6) front red tow hooks

I just ordered the Prinsu 7/8 rack and am waiting on the C4 sliders.

All recent parts were installed at Deviate Autosport in Houston. They did a great job.

Just a little bit if I hard turn at about 5 mph....nothing at wheel lock and nothing that can't be fixed with a heat gun to the fender liner

Hey guys,

I just wanted to briefly introduce myself - I'm Chris from Houston! I'm a long time Audi driver making the jump to the Toyota family.

I've been lurking for a few months on here. I originally was going to get a Limited as a daily driver, but after many nights of research on this forum (thanks for the help and posts by all members over time!) I was able to change direction and put a down payment on a 2017 TRD Pro in the cement color. I thought this would be the best bet for resale over time and "fun factor".

The truck should arrive this week. It will get some off road use, but will be mostly used for Houston pothole smashing since I just can't deal with it on a daily basis in my lowered RS5 anymore. I don't wear affliction so I am not a TRD Bro! haha.

Minor plans for upgrade include:
1) Wheel spacers
2) 265 KO2 tires
3) leveling kit
4) stereo upgrade
5) roof rack
6) C4 sliders for trips to Austin and some rock crawling

Recent update:

Baja Ladder installed - not impressed with fitment

Color matched C4 sliders on - not impressed with outdated instructions from their website that leave out some pretty big details.

But, the end results is nice.

Prinsu 7/8 rack goes on this weekend!
