Is this a good deal for a 2010 TE ?

Hi all,
I am new to the forum and first time posting here.
I am looking at a 2010 TE with KDSS and Nav (not sure if this is standard). It is a one owner truck with 63k and no history of accidents.

The asking price is 30k. Is this too high? My quick search on AutoTrader tells me that this is a good, but not great, price.

Too high for that mileage IMHO.

I too think it's a bit high for the mileage. But, not by an excessive amount. Paint and interior in good condition?

Is it certified preowned from a dealership?

SatNav and KDSS are not standard options.
 
This truck is from a large national dealer (not sure about forum rules in naming dealers). The price is fixed so I would not be able to talk them down. From the 60 pix they posted...condition seems to be excellent in both exterior and interior. I asked them to look at the underside to make sure that it has not been banged up from offroading. All appears to be stock (no aftermarket mods). Tires look to be about 10K old.

I confirmed with the dealer via VIN that it does have KDSS.
TE's are so hard to come by in my search. So..if you guys (who know the market well) think that 30K is about 1k overprice....I would be ok with the deal.

Do what makes ya happy bud. I'm sure you'll love it either way. It took me a few months to find the Trail I wanted for the price I wanted. But, well worth the wait.
 
Paid 29K (2 weeks ago) for a clean 2010 TE w/ every options...30 500 Km. I'm from Quebec, Canada btw...normally, we pay about 5-8k more than US market.

Did you buy it from the volkswagon dealer on the 132 ?

While Carmax typically have very nice/clean cars for sale, they are usually $2-3K more than what you'll pay on a Private Party or even some dealer sales.

I'd pass on that one. Too many miles for $30K.
 
Just one more point of reference,
I recently paid 35k OTD for a 2010 TE with 33k miles.
KDSS, nav, factory installed lift and immaculate. Oh and 6 year 100k mile bumper to bumper.
I was having a hard time locating TEs online. Went to cars.com and found a ton of them.

I feel like I got a pretty fair deal.

A motto we have out here on the boat;
It's just money, they print more of it everyday.
