Hey guys,

I just got this random PM from somebody, asking me to join their forum....here it is:

i know this is random and im sorry to bother you but we have a new forum online (it's about a 2 years old) and i was wondering if you might want to join us? its absolutely free and is much like this forum in it appearance and functionality.

- in all honesty, we are trying to get a little bit more activity in our automotive section of the forum.

its a general all topics forum that has sections for just about everything but the automotive part of the forum is kinda new.

anyways, we have a few members out there now. we like talking about everyday stuff like news, hobbies, music, movies and sports but most of all we like to share some laughs.


again im sorry if i bothered you and i know it's random but it would be great to have some more people there with us from time to time to either talk more automotive and cars or just discuss general topics so thought id give it a shot in asking.

sometimes if you do google search and it brings up t4r listing with the classic , 2nd gen
3rd gen etc. and you click to come here then it will take you to some blog looking spam site selling stuff. i dont use bookmarls due to fact i use screen reader (orca) w/ ubuntu

i think somebody is doing the traffic theft/herding thing that sends us users to their page when we just trying to log to t4r forum. i dont understand why exactly but it happens quite a bit (to me anyway)

next time ill log the page for t4r admins. always some **** wanna mess with a forum. they need a g/f or toyota , maybe both :girl: before they get :AK47: or :boxer:

I got the same message. Just spam from what I can tell...the link leads to a thread in a sub-board with one post.

I haven't gotten that PM but everytime I click on T4R.org or the direct link to the 3rd Gen it keeps taking me to "URLtooshort" or something...some other page. It did it at my home computer and my work computer...it always does it the first time but the 2nd time I click it it brings me here....weird.

i do google search and it brings t4r extended listing and when i clicked on classics this morning im taken here

Looking into url2short.info issue.

The redirect to url2short should be fixed now. Please let me know if you still experience the redirect. Best way to try to reproduce is to clear cookies and perform the search.

The issue was indeed related to a plug-in we use called vbSEO, had to reinstall it.

I'll look into the spammers now.

yes it is fixed on this side now. i tried them all and no redirect from any of the t4r page links.
