Is this suppose to look like this?

So I get under the 4runner to spray some penetrating oil all over the suspension components in preparation for my lift....and at the same time found this. There's about a 1 inch gap between the bushing and the body mount. The other side was the exact same I tapped it lightly with a hammer and it didn't budge.

Are these suppose to look like this lol????????????

Yup you're fine, not sure why they're like that but it's normal. I saw the title of this thread and thought..."I'm guessing body mounts....ding ding ding!" haha

Haha! I was thinking the same thing.
Yupp, those are your body mounts and they will have that gap. They become slightly noticeable after a BL

haha ok thanks for clearing that up, I was a bit worried thinking rust was the only thing holding the body to the frame lol.
