Not sure how you can say that goes both ways.

When have the Israelis launched rockets into Gaza unprovoked?
When did the Israelis say that all of HAMAS must Die or cease to exist?

Israel builds Bomb Shelters and puts up the Iron Dome.
In Gaza they build tunnels into Israelis areas and buy Rockets to launch into Israel, to the tune of nearly 3000 this month alone.

If the Rockets stopped today Israel would stop, Israel wants peace and Hamas does not. The sooner the Palestinian people fight back at Hamas the sooner there will be peace.

Hamas broke their own cease fire AGAIN today.

I support Israel and hope they continue to defend themselves at the superior level that they have all along and crush Hamas and restore peace and common sense to the region.

Soon, Hamas is going to press the wrong buttons with Egypt also.

I did go back and re-read what you said, yea they should stand up to the radicals, but that is easier said than done, in many ways.
Same way that Israeli's should stand up to their government and not promote mass bombings and killings. A death is a death is a death, it's not right.

I think Israelis continue to build settlements, i.e. take land that is not theirs and expel the inhabitants, in the West Bank. Am I mistaken?

Yes Israel continues to build in the suburbs of existing cities that have been under Israeli control for nearly 70 years. What is really interesting is the term 'take' is used alot. To insinuate that at gun point Israel removes Palestinians from their homes for Israeli citizens to live in.

Israel provides free water and electricity to both Gaza and the West Bank and has done more to make the areas better for all residents. If Hamas would put down the weapons there would not be any fighting.

The bottom line is Israel will never live in peace, we know that the big question is whether or not the US is going to stand with Israel and defend this very tiny nation (8 Million) amongst some 200 Million that want them dead. This very small amount of land the Israel attempts to live on is smaller then the state of New Jersey.

And we have some 200 Million people looking to break that small amount of land in half and then infiltrate that land to continue with their sick and disgusting plan to kill every last jewish person in that country.

The Palestinians must put down the weapons and coexist with Israel or they will crushed.

At this point I am done with the conversation.

Remember the floutilla from Turkey that tried to bring food and supplies into Gaza. There were no mass weapons caches just things like wood, cement and food.

What I remember is the ships being boarded at gunpoint, many people died, then the ships were prevented from docking at the Ports in Gaza to unload supplies. So you say that Israel has granted them every request, you say it isn't a prison BUT plain as day they are controlled by Israel.

- The soldiers were stabbed

That is a great excuse. But what is the issue with the inbound ships being inspected, why not inspect them when a dual force. Why do they refuse to allow the ships to be inspected as all countries do. If Israel stop the inspections of inbound ships to Gaza the number of rockets with quadruple and the size of them would increase.

Nothing that Hamas as done deserves a ounce of trust.

Sure looks like the flotilla was prepared to fight rather then just under go an inspections.

IHH has for a very long time been aligned with many questionable 'Charity Organizations' that are sympathetic with and have been found to support both Hamas and Al Qaeda.

What charity organization threatens or speaks about war, none! Unless you are the head of IHH.

The entire event was a media circus to continue the narrative that Israel is evil.

Put down the weapons and work with Israel to live in peace.

If they would come to the table and build some trust they may find a much better outcome but they continue to stand behind women and children and lob rockets into Israel.

Name one time Israel violated a cease fire or aggressed against any of their enemies without provocation. Just 1, that is all you need to find.

The bottom line is that you don't impression a society and expect peace..
As he points out, Hammas firing rockets and killing Israeli's isn't OK either.

It's interesting (I did not know) how IDF worked towards their free state.
But that is also a great point, Hamas being labeled a terrorist organization because they are put in a corner and fight back is also subjective.

I don't necessarily support Hammas, but that's besides the point. It's hard for me to be viewed as a neutral opinion because I'm of middle eastern descent, but I am... It's really hard to say it's the Israeli's fault and they need to fix it or it's the Palestinian's fault and they need to lay down arms. As I previously said, it's a complicated situation and there needs to be REAL efforts from both sides. NO, NOT TURN THE OTHER CHEECK... Rather, a legit HAND SHAKE with real intentions to stop killing each other and look out for the greater good of their states and humanity.
