It’s Alive!?!?

Just went out in the garage to get something out of my truck. On the way back into the house a faint mechanical/purring sound caught my ear. After following the sound, I found it coming from the wife’s 2020 TRD ORP. It had been parked for 6+ hours since she last drove it. Sound seemed to be coming from under the rear driver side wheel well. Checked the interior and there were no idiot lights on the dash.

If I had to describe the sound, I’d say it sounded like a vehicle with air suspension; like a pump. I know there’s nothing like that on the the 4R, so was it the fuel pump? We started it up and turned it off and the sound was gone. Any ideas or suggestions as to what it could be are appreciated.

It's normal. It's the sound of the fuel evaporation leakage check. It runs several hours after the engine has been shut off.
