J-BlickPhoto Thread

I love how you mounted your CB antenna. What happens when you open your back hatch?

It's routed up the door and then down into the cab. When I open the hatch, it just goes up with it. I've never had any problems with it. Even with it mounted low I've never had any problems with signal as the firestick propagates very well.

All I see is a set of ears pricked up in the back saying "Dad? Dad, why are you leaving me back here. I wanna be outside, too! Oh you're taking photos..again" =P

Just a fellow dog owner whose dogs do the same things...Still enjoying the pictures.

Hahaha! I was wondering if anyone was going to see that! Truthfully, when I look at this picture, that's all I see. :yo:

Didn't get to travel the way I usually do over the weekend, i.e. tent, pack, food, etc. So pulled a few images that remind me why I got the runner.

It's Wednesday and for me that usually means I start prepping for the weekend. Headed west as usual. :high5:

Hey JB, did you Vinyl Wrap the scoop?

Yep, and for two reasons.

1. The glare coming from the light bar. I'm on the coast a lot, trolling the beaches, fishing, surfing, camping. So I actually use my light bar a lot.
2. The glare from the sun - This was probably the biggest reason. My girlfriend and I drove out to Big Bend a few months ago and the glare was hitting us both in the eyes on the way there and on the way back.

You actually can't tell it's there if you're looking at the vehicle, unless your freakishly tall. I'm 6'1 and I can't "really" see it. People usually spot it once they're in the vehicle.

I don't mind it since it serves a purpose. I was thinking about just doing the entire hood in a few weeks, but we will see. :hello:

Sometimes everything really comes together. I really don't "like" this shot, but it was one of those nights where the weather was perfect. A great moment!

Did you use a remote/timed trigger, or did you trigger and then dash into place?

I like it. Well done! I think we need a big Texas meet-up with a photo emphasis!

Looks like the dash into place since there's a poll in his head. Still an amazing shot none the less and pretty jealous of your experiences.

right on! was thinking about wrapping my hood(for the sun glare) but I like the smaller strip idea too.

Yea, I thought that too, but one that long of an exposure, if you leaned forward really quickly that same ghosting would happen.

Either way…freaking cool.

I did a 10 sec timer. I tried to get up really fast to minimize ghosting.

I completely agree on meeting up! I'm sure we could turn up some amazing shots!

Another Beach Trip

Spent some a few days/nights on the beach.
