J-BlickPhoto Thread

Dude, I know you answered this for me once before, but I cannot find the response anywhere: What lens are you using for your wide angle shots?

Thanks!

Spent some a few days/nights on the beach.

My "go to" lens is the 17-40mm canon L. It's an all around great wide angle lens. I do shoot a lot with my fish eye which I just upgraded to the 14mm canon l series fisheye and what a difference. I was coming from the 8-15mm L, so I was a little worried that I wasn't really upgrading...but I was wrong!

J-BlickPhoto - We're opposites in so many ways! For example, when I run it's ONLY to the car or to the bathroom! LOL!

But then we both have feelings for the "second hands" who deserve so much more.... Here's two (older pure bred "leftover" and younger mix "2x pound puppy') guarding my T4R after a romp at the beach:

And the truck is pretty awesome too! How u liking the OME setup? I'm thinking of same setup for my trail!

I love it so far. It fits my style of driving and needs. As you can probably see, I'm more of an overlander than anything so having an OME lift was an obvious choice. So far, I've abused the sh*t out of it and it's still going strong! :boxer:

Well, On thursday I heard there was a cold snap coming to Texas and I was "sort of" prepared for it. I had the gear, but I was not prepared how Texas basically shuts down. Being from NC, random weather is a way of life. Of course I was camping / trail running and getting ready to head to the coast to surf the swell that was quickly building. Despite friday's temperature averaging 30ish degrees, I was able to catch some fun waves, and as luck would have it, the weather quickly warmed to the low 70's.

Here are some images from the trip.

I also want to thank everyone for taking a look at my thread. I can only hope that my photos inspire you guys to get out there!! :usa2:
