Yep, It's a Nemo Losi 2 person. It's a fantastic test! I got it specifically for car camping and it's nothing short of perfect. There's so much room inside for yourself gear and dog/kid (if you have them). I would never use it for hiking but I do have a friend who is spending a few weeks in Colorado and will be using this tent for he and his family.

If you had two people and no dog, is it roomy or would you step up to the 3p if used only for car camping?

Edit: I realize this could be interpreted as a stupid question but I meant: If I'm going to be car camping I don't mind a few extra pounds for some extra room, is this tent as cramped as other 2p tents

I am on the road a lot but I've only got 70k on the dot. When I first got it, my girl friend and I used her vehicle a lot instead of the runner, but now that it's just me, I'm definitely racking up the miles.

I'll most likely keep my T4R until the wheels fall off. The tacoma I had in high school had almost 300000 miles on it when I got rid of it, and my 1st Gen Tundra had 280000 and I sold that one for 5k.

Yeah I am also leaning towards the wheels falling off idea.... Think I might pay it off and do the TE conversion! Just know its going to be expensive to do.... just weighing the options.

Here's a short clip of a route I've taken several times at Guadalupe national park. 16-20 miles with (on average) 9000-10000 feet of elevation change. Sometimes it gets pretty hairy since I like to take the route "less traveled". The trips usually involve a 9hr drive through the night. Half a day reconnoitering the area or the route and then the run....followed by a 9hr drive back home. :crazy:

I know I'm a little late to the game on J-Blick's video post, but that video is simply awesome! The soundtrack you chose complimented the footage perfectly. Really nice job.

In no way is it like other 2 person tents. In my opinion, it's built more like a base camp tent. The 2 person will easily sleep 3 people. Now, if your plans are to use it for a car camping tent then get the 3 person. It's HUGE and extremely stable. Personally I like the way it packs. It's not your typical "stuff sack" style bag. The bag fillets open. You place the contents in the center pouch and roll the bag closed. It's ingenious. OH....here's the one issue I've had with the tent. If the rainfly gets wet (rain etc.) it stays wet. For some odd reason it tends to hold moisture, although it doesn't take long to dry. I've made a habit of spraying mine down with Nikwax.
 
Nothing Special

Took off for a short camping trip and went north of Houston. There is a system of dirt roads in that area, so it's nice to get off of the pavement.

Wow, that's a lot of L series glass. So if you're selling a FF Canon and all the lenses does that mean you're going to FF Nikon?
