J-BlickPhoto Thread

Thanks for continuing to share your travels and pics. I'm sure other like me are seeing the world differently thru your eyes. Thanks

Fairly uneventful day. Did some surfing, which will most likely be the last for this trip. I did stay at a KOA campground. They have everything you could possibly need, but I'm not a fan. I always feel like they pack people in like sardines. It also started raining, so I decided to sleep inside the runner. I usually try to keep everything organized, but from the looks of it, I'm failing miserably. Other than that...the trip continues. :peace:

I see you were in the Wrightsville Beach area! Do you ever make it up further north to Hatteras or Corolla?

Dude,

Pictures look amazing! Really dig the reflection of the beach in the pup's eyes. She's getting bigger, be taking up the whole front seat in no time. Thanks for the tips, will have to play around with this. Looking forward to hearing from you on the PM I sent about the lenses. Hopefully they'll still be around by the time you get to my message, would love to pick a couple of them up from you in the next week or so.

Beached

The wind and the rain forced me to move inland a little and do some running. The weather was very nice and I was able to enjoy some time in the woods. After a long run, I headed back to the coast to continue searching for surf.

Today was all about surfing. The sun came out and it was on! This swell is definitely keeping me from leaving the coast! My doberman puppy (Carolina) is loving this schedule, considering she's spending every waking moment by my side.

Beach Continued

The sand was extremely deep and soft. I saw the beach tow truck drive by several times. However, the runner performed perfectly! It's always fun to drive around vehicles "struggling"! :hello:

Have you tinted your windows at all? With all the driving you do, it seems like a good idea to keep some heat out of the vehicle and I'm certainly considering it.

Just remarkable... Inspiring to say the least. Thanks for all the pictures and motivation to get out there and explore the world!!!

You kill me man. In my mind I see pictures of where I have been exactly as you have taken them. Unfortunately when I take a picture though it looks like a 3 year old colored it...badly. Keep it up as you have a great eye and equipment to match! If I take a good picture its by accident.

2 years ago when I lived in NC I was there every other weekend. Now, on occasion. I really love the OBX.

I was just out north of Hatteras this past weekend. Beautiful place with endless miles of open beach, but boy that wind, bring a kite.

(Sorry not much to look at, yet)

We love it down there! Speaking of kites, the wife and I have two HQ Power Kites we keep in the Truck during summer beach trips. We hope to be able to drive down soon and pick up our beach permit so we can explore down as far as Ocracoke with the kids this summer. If you happen to see a Blizzard Pearl SR5 with VA plates flying a red or green 4 line kite, stop by and say hello!

Took off for a short camping trip and went north of Houston. There is a system of dirt roads in that area, so it's nice to get off of the pavement.

Mind if ask you about your bike rack? What brand is it and does it work with your Bajarack okay? I'm thinking about buying a Baja flat rack and want to know if it will work with my Thule attachments.

It's been a few minutes since I've posted anything. I had a fairly large break from work and spent the time camping and looking for surf.
