Remember, it's about the subject and composition first then the gear and post processing. You're much better off buying good glass than spending a ton on the body. Go watch this:

I currently have the Sony A7. It's a full frame mirror less "small body" camera. It's compact and fun to shoot with. As said before.....spend your money on lenses!! I love the size of the Sony but I shoot with only canon lenses. In fact Sony encourages you to buy the adapter and shoot with only the best lenses, it's the only way you'll get the best out each shot.

Day 1 in CO and I ran some trails today. So far I've kept my truck pretty stock, but I now see the need for a winch, some underbelly protection, and some sliders.....

Yeah there is a reason they are called the ROCKY mtns. Great pics, look forward to your CO pics since I'll be able to go to all the places you discover that I've missed.

Ya, I picked it up a few weeks ago and I was impressed. It's a solid lens. Extremely crisp.

Yep, we have a lot of rocks here. Soon, you'll be needing better approach and departure angles, and gearing to keep control of all that weight at high altitude.

Yeah... What he said. It looks like you are, or were in the Boulder area. Normally we have more snow on those trails by this time of year. It's been a glorious fall though.

Sony A7. Sweet mirrorless camera with tons of those pixel things

So I was browsing the Navy Exchange here on the base where I'm currently stationed and noticed the only Sony Alpha they had was a the NEX7K. I researched it, compared prices, features, specs, etc. to the A7, and, with my mediocre-at-best photography skills, decided to pick it up. Thanks for turning me onto the Alpha's J! It is an interchangable lens system so I'm going to check out the Carl Zeiss lenses they just came out with and pick up an adapter off Amazon

My cluttered garage. I had to reshoot this one with a real camera.

I love nothing more than loading the T4R for a trip.

What are dangly bits on the ceiling of your ride. They look like a rod saver but I don't see one up front. It also appears to not be as saggy, which has been the reason I never got one.
