J-BlickPhoto Thread

Wow! You probably drove by my house since it's like a mile from some of these pictures! I was like, that looks a lot like Eldora and then went back a page and there's Ned and Caribou 4x4 Trail, pretty cool you stopped in the town I'm from :D Awesome photos as always!

....... Oh, and the night shots are weak...way too much moon light!! :cry2:

Beautiful pictures as always.

I enjoy the way a full moon lights up the landscape here in Colorado. Although I live in a community with no street lights, I find that I can fully function in the mornings without turning on the interior lights, using just the ambient moon light. I like to watch the moon drop behind the front range while drinking my morning coffee. The little things......

J-BlickPhoto. What happened to the cgi bumper you were getting?

Weight is probably the biggest factor and I would like to get something fab'd. Personally, I prefer the 4x4 labs bumper over the CBI and I never really needed one in Texas (that goes for a front bumper, sliders, and other armor).

What are dangly bits on the ceiling of your ride. They look like a rod saver but I don't see one up front. It also appears to not be as saggy, which has been the reason I never got one.

That's a daisy chain made for climbing. I just unbolted the hooks in the rear and melted holes in the daisy chain and reattached the bolts. I don't like things that sag  so I pulled tight! I mainly use it for random pieces of gear.

Day 1 in CO and I ran some trails today. So far I've kept my truck pretty stock, but I now see the need for a winch, some underbelly protection, and some sliders.....

Which way did you go from, North to South or South to North through Eldora. I went up there Sunday but went in from Eldora and holy sh*t, there's only a foot between you and a 100' drop off especially about a half mile in.

Ha ha ha, I went north to south through Nederland, and you're right it was pretty sketchy. Plus, that morning it had snowed and at some points I was sliding sideways until my tires caught traction.

So, I've been shooting (aka...taking pictures :nerd:) a lot lately, considering it's what I do for a living now. Here are a few from the past few days. By the way...Colorado is unreal. :riddance:

Colorado is such a "photographer's playground" huh!?! LOL (and now that snowshoe season is decending upon us, the playground becomes even more fun)

J-BlickPhoto welcome to Colorado, enjoy this weeks weather, we don't want you getting too spoiled out of the gates. :D

Sh!t happens :clap2:

I slid sideways into a ditch which was covered with a snow drift that was over waist deep.

Almost 3 hours of digging in 18 degrees.
