I keep looking at getting a fisheye but then I talk myself out of spending the money on a lens I wouldn't end up using a whole lot. I think they'd make some really interesting night sky shots and I really like the way your landscapes turned out. Maybe I'll look into a cheaper 3rd party brand (the only Nikon full frame fisheye is a grand) to try it out.

Really?! Nikon only makes one full frame fisheye? that's surprising.

First, I know absolutely nothing about lens or cameras. What I do know though is a fisheye lens shot is much closer to "being there" than a standard lens shot because in my mind it mimics peripheral vision somewhat. Well at least it does to me. If there were a way to blur the left and right edges and blend it to sharp focus in the middle 75% of the pic then you would capture what your eye typically sees, or at least my eyes. Great pics Jacob and I love the fisheye ones especially.
