J-BlickPhoto Thread

Here's a crappy photo of my newest upgrade!

Roof top tents are a pain in the ars to install. I will not be removing this thing for a while!!

But you'll never sleep on the ground again!

Love the pics and it definitely makes me miss the "mountain west".

Word of advice on the RTT install. Order up some Thule Rapid Crossroads and leave them attached to the RTT. It allows for easy mounting and dismounting.
I actually use an extra set of crossbars that are 70" wide so that I can use them to "forklift" the RTT on and off with the help of one other person. Then if need be, you can use the 70" to add lighter attachments to the side of the RTT.

Get rid of the nyloc nuts that probably came with it and get lock washers and regular nuts instead. Makes a huge difference for installing and removing it. Not sure about the bolts, but mine were really close to the roof so I replaced them with slightly shorter ones as well. Just make sure to get it all stainless ;)

This is poster worthy :)

You're back! Going to have start trolling your pic thread again :D

I see you've become a fan of the VSCO filters? Inspirational adventures as always!

NO WAY!!! I will say that I draw my inspiration from all images/paintings...etc. EVERYTHING I do is done in the tonal curve or RGB curve. :deadhorse:

Well, I'm in Washington state shooting for a week. :tea: I've been here a few times and it gets better every single time. I've seen a few VERY nice 4Runners in the Yakima area. I wish I had mine.....:frusty:

Another test fit. I think I've got everything on the RTT setup just the way I want it. I'm headed out tomorrow for a 5 day trip.

Don't think I've ever notice but where did that dent come from on your passenger side?

Nice photos.

Around December last year I was rolling through some extremely deep snow near Estes Park. I slid sideways into a jagged rock that was about waist high. Sliders would have been useless.

Since you travel so often, I can't determine which State this photos were taken, being an East Coast ignoramus. The photo with you in the RTT and the winding road in the background really reminds me of why I enjoy this forum. I appreciate your and everyone else who let others see through your eyes. Nice work!
