Canon 5dMKIII with the full suite of lenses and a Sony A7 with a few old school manual everything lenses with adapters. It's actually kind of funny, because the last several pages of my thread are shot with full manual lenses. Set the F-Stop...gauge the focus...and hope for the best!

Oh, and I don't know what "PP" stands for?? I'm going to assume Personal Photography??? If so...the answer is very little. Most of the shots I take for the thread are candid and fun. I carry a camera with me everywhere, which is usually stashed away in my truck. However, I'm not the "lets take a photo!!" guy...

I believe he's asking how much "post processing" goes into your photos.

I haven't spent a Christmas at home in probably 16 years. Luckily I've got a girlfriend that understands how restless I get.

4.5 days of pure fun and a Christmas I'll look back at with a smile. Here's a toast to the adventurous side in all of us. :usa2:

Yes, this is what I meant. Sorry, should've just typed the whole thing! My set up the past 5+ years has been with my Canon 7D and 35mm f/1.4L. I think it is time for a new body!

Ya, he was suffering. He's actually from Louisiana, so he was killing it just for the experience. I'm 100% certain he'll have a split board the next trip.

I don't do as much as one would think. I tend to shoot everything a little underexposed and then lighten and color correct in lightroom. I mainly do all of my editing using the RGB curves. It keeps it simple and it gives me a little bit more control (IMO) rather than using the adjustment sliders that are provided. I never combine shots or shoot in HDR and I always use natural light. :high5:

Holding up...no. I've blown out two of them already, but EB has a 100% returns, so I keep going back. The 1st was returned within a day...I was a little tough on it. Overall, it's a great jacket. I've used it mainly when skiing and climbing. If the temp is 20 degrees or lower it's a great top layer when doing strenuous activity. I usually wear it over a smart wool t-shirt and it's fine. I've found that 10 degrees and below it's PERFECT! Anything above 20 and it's too hot.

Arcteryx is pricey but, so far, completely worth it. Mine have been indestructible

I've got a lot of Arcteryx stuff, but it's always nice to venture out and find some different brands. The First Ascent line from Eddie Bauer is solid. Their climbing/skimo bags are indestructible. Mammut, millet, Rab, Big Agnes (yes they make soft goods)...those are brands that have solid soft goods lines, but people naturally navigate to the larger brands.

I've needed to make some cargo space for a while. I was thinking about building some drawers, however that would create some issues when sleeping inside the truck (which I do all of the time). So I went with another platform. This time, I over built the crap out of it! So, now (unlike the last one I had) it's bomb proof, and I built it to where it's fits like a glove and is essentially wedged between the back seats and back side of the vehicle. I'm going to add a slide out tray and a few more contact points for gear, but we are literally leaving (as I type) for a short camping trip....so they'll have to wait! :guitar3:
