J-BlickPhoto Thread

Here are a few pics from my phone this morning. You can see how it's attached at the base, and I kept it really flush in the corners. Also, note how it sits flush against the back seats (reclined slightly). No noise or movement and a nice enclosed space. With the seats down and the drawer pulled (like in the last image) it's a very comfortable place to sleep.

I've been following you and your pics here and on Instagram for a bit and as a fellow Denver resident, its awesome to see your pics climbing in BV and skiing near Drift. Those are both some of my favorite area's close to the front range.

I was wondering if you could provide pics / info on the removable drawer on the platform? I'm looking to build a platform similar to yours with the same purpose of being able to sleep in the back with my wife, and haul a bunch of mountaineering / camping gear. The removable drawer system looks like it'd be perfect.

Thanks in advance!

Ok, so outside of photography I'm a runner, specifically an ultra runner. Meaning I typically run races/routes in excess of 26.2 miles. One of my biggest enjoyment are solo self supported two-three day runs which typically total around the 75 mile mark. How does this relate to the 4runner....well, it gets me there and since most of the places are fairly remote, the scenery isn't that bad.

Here's a short clip of a route I've taken several times at Guadalupe national park. 16-20 miles with (on average) 9000-10000 feet of elevation change. Sometimes it gets pretty hairy since I like to take the route "less traveled". The trips usually involve a 9hr drive through the night. Half a day reconnoitering the area or the route and then the run....followed by a 9hr drive back home.

Here's the link!!

PS: don't make fun of the shorts!!

Amazing video by the way. What song was playing the background on this one? The music you attach on your videos match perfectly. Great work :usa2:

It snowed in CO and it was awesome!

The mountains are in great condition, however the 4Runner could only take us so far. We still had to move on foot for 8 or so miles. The following morning we got a great mixed climb in at 13,000ft.

Drove up to 9000ft this morning to check the snow pack and see if I could get a ski line in. Unfortunately we need a few more storms before I get a few turns. I did however have my camera with me, so I decided to shoot a few stills.

On a side note, I'm fairly happy with the performance of the new tires. I tend to give my vehicle hell over the winter, so only time will tell how they truly perform. So far so good, on icy snow covered dirt roads.

Falken AT3w's?

Yep. I'm very happy with them so far. Quiet, somewhat aggressive tread design / sidewall, and they're not bad in the snow. 2 days after I bought them, we took a 1200 mile road trip with 100-150 or so off road.
