The pics were taken near Kaena Point, there was a glyper airport near by too... i just followed the road from Haliewa, Oahu to go to Kaena point... the beach near by had 4wheelers riding around on the beach... was really nice up there...
 
I will hopefully taking orders to Hawaii in january. I look forward to finding some nice wheelin spots on the island..

I'm enlisted... E-6 stationed at COMSUBPAC... let me know when you get here.. i'll show you up where Kaena is... that's the best spot i found so far....

Yeah i will hit you up if i get the orders. Right now im just crossin my fingers, you know how it is. I hope to get air crew orders but at this point I dont care I just want to go to hawaii. im a ctt whats your rate?

new lights...

well, i just changed out my fog light bulbs... i put in Supreme Power Parts Yellow 80Watt 9006 fog light bulbs... and man what a difference it makes... i took a few pics, but my camera won't transfer them to the puter for some reason... at night, these things work great... in rain it makes a big differenece....i think... from the front, with the silverstars and these lights, i like the looks alot, but the light is a bit more up front for normal driving....

Go to www.supremepowerparts.com , then go to "Lighting", then "Super White Bulbs", then "9006".... They were $34.99 with shipping... for two bulbs... not bad...

Congrats on your awesome lookin 4R! btw, what brand/aftermarket type of sunroof deflector do you have? I checked w/the dealers and they said toyota doesn't make any sunroof deflectors for the 4th gen 4R. Thx n adv!

I have one that came in a Toyota box, but I can't find the order. From my e-mail archives, I find this part number: 00012-R0366-01. I believe I ordered it from Jay Marks Toyota in Houston.
 
deflector

Dude i actually got the deflector from my toyota dealer in louisiana... HOWEVER, i threw the damm part away... it has a gasket that kept messing up... it only mounts with two brackets and the brackets didn't mount good enough.. i used it for awhile, but ditched it... i didn't want to scratch my paint.... go figure... just like the hood deflector..same reason.... i don't want to scratch my hood more from vibration...

if you drive only in the city... it might work fine... but highway driving... rain, wind... it moved all the time... so i just threw it away....
