JBA Cat back exhaust

Any of you guys running the JBA Cat Back kit on your 6 cylinder 3rd Gen? Seems like a pretty decent kit for the money. I have a slight exhaust leak, I'll most likely just buy a muffler and then have the exhaust shop fab up the rest but before I do I was curious what you guys thought. $330 for a stainless steel cat back kit seems pretty reasonable.

I don't have any info, but I'm in the same boat as you with this problem PitbullRescuer. If anyone has some info that'd be great.

I googled it and it got mixed reviews. Quality seems to be decent but mixed reviews on the sound, which makes me nervous. I'm tempted to just buy a muffler and ask the exhaust shop to fab up the other pipes.

I may look into it within the next few months. Hopefully a good deal comes around. My exhaust and rear bumper are the only real rust affected parts on my T4R.

I just hope this JBA exhaust isn't much louder than stock.

I got an entire cat back at a muffler shop, muffler included for $177 out the door. All new. As an FYI.

Same here, I'm about done with some of the other money thieving projects on my 4Runner and I'm about to address the rusted and leaking muffler issue. I'm not wanting to go over board with $ or a loud exhaust, but something slightly different than stock would be nice.

I agree, if I want loud, that's what my cobra is for :tongue:

Yea I agree. I want a nice smooth sounding exhaust. I really hate how our v6 sounds when its opened up with an exhaust unless you get the right muffler.

I think I can make that system work on mine by cutting the pipe down where the extra cat is. ( the long pipe ) From what I can tell from the picture.
