Jeep Crashes 1000 feet Off Trail - Driver dead passenger critical

This happened this week up by Mt Rainier off of 520. Incredibly sad.

Hate to see that. Thank GOD somebody saw it and they were able to get to them. She could've been unknowingly left there for dead very easily.

Sad. Wonder what happened. From the photo where the ATV is it doesn't look like there was anything really tough that should have caused them to go over.

That roll cage was clearly not made to withstand a proper roll over. One should also where arm straps when driving in a vehicle such as a Jeep

Hope she survives and it's unfortunate for the loss of life

I am not sure any factory vehicle is built to withstand a roll down a 1000ft cliff.

Ya pretty much what cage do you know of that can with stand that without significant damage? A moderate rollover would be low speed , maybe end over end once or onto the side, not off a dam cliff

I am actually pretty impressed the rollcage didn't really appear damaged too bad.
