Joshua Tree, Geology Tour Road on Sunday, October 22nd, 2017

I appreciate your concern. I will be with 4 other people in my car. I've driven on dirt/sand before at Anza Fish Creek/Sandstone Canyon. And I will be prepared. I will have a cooler full of water, I have a spare tire, 5 gallon of gas, max trax, straps, etc. ..... I will have a map of Geology Tour Road with me, I've prepared myself by watching youtube videos of people finishing the loop as well. ......

Hey man I'm sure you will have a great trip and personally you sound more prepared than about 95% of all the guys on the backtrail out there.

Geology tour is a much easier trail than Fish Creek because it has near 0 rocks. Mostly smooth sand. The trail over the mountains is more of an actual 4WD road.

Looks like I have some friends interested in camping Joshua Tree this weekend, we will most likely head out Friday after work and head back Sunday. I'll be in my gx and my cousin will be in his Tacoma. If its cool with you guys, we will tag along Sunday before heading back to OC.

I ended up doing the run on Saturday with my girlfriend after our friends cancelled. Turned out to be a good time, we shot for a few hours in Berdoo and then had a fun run through Geology tour. I'm not much for getting epic pictures and my gf is even worse with the camera
