I just happened to stop at a light and look down to see this....
Since I haven't yet really posted any pics of her, here's a couple...
This was my previous t4r, a '92 SR5 4x4 with the 3.0L. She lasted a couple weeks before two rods broke... somehow water had gotten into the cylinders, imagine that. Only 181k miles young :violin:
And the car which I sold to purchase the current 4runner...
I would just start a build thread, but as I'm about to start my last semester of A&P school, it's going to have to stay mostly stock for now. First thing will be a major maintenance session ie: T-belt/WP, trans flush and ext. cooler install, plugs/wires, valve cover gaskets, etc. Tires are definitely on the list, probably Tread Wrights as soon as possible just to get some traction (the Nexens spin on wet grass, no bueno). Ultimately, I'd like it sitting on a Toytec full suspension lift to clear ~33"s with lockers, beefed up driveline, tube bumpers and skids, and a plethora of other upgrades like interior LEDs, CB, Satoshi, etc.
If anyone feels like donating a 4.7L, I won't complain :guitar3:
