Just bought my first T4R

I wanted to thank everyone here for all your enthusiasm and willingness to share information about your 4runners. It made buying mine a much better experience. I purchased a 2007 V8 Sport Edition with 70k miles on it yesterday and absolutely love it. Can't wait to take this thing camping and snow mashing.

There are a few moves I need to make now. Buying a cargo box for the roof rack, the standard audio system is in dire need of upgrading, and my wife is hell bent on putting heated leather in this thing. So far I really do like the cloth seats on the sport but I do admit heated seats are quite nice. Never had leather though so not sure about that one.

Anyway I have been lurking here for a good while and just wanted to thank you all and let you know you helped make this Seattle family very happy campers!

Congrats and welcome to the forum! There's some different routes you can go in order to achieve heated seats. You can get some direct swaps from a limited, or even go so far as to install the heat panels in your existing seats if you want to keep cloth...a few have done that IIRC.

I am also a fairly new owner, since I bought mine just a little over 6 months ago. I live by Alderwood and often spending time in Bothell/Mill Creek/Woodinville. Maybe I'll bump into you sometime.
