Trip last week to Tahoe with some friends
Found a trail in South Tahoe, had some awesome views of the lake at the peak of the mountain
Deflating tires next to my buddy's lifted 3rd gen
With the 3rd gen and the Trooper
Perfectly good driveway, yet they all just had to park in the backyard!

It was a gift. I was told it was from ebay, but I was never able to find another one. It was advertised as "police style", so I searched police bumper guard, police grill guard, police push bar, police push bumper, all kinds of combos and was never able to find it.
maybe you'll have better luck as I haven't searched it up in a long time
i found it. but not on ebay so the price was no where near right. Thanks though. Truck looks great

Upgraded to LED interior lights, got them in hyper white. $20 bucks shipped from EBay, best twenty bucks I spent on my car!
It came with four door lights, two map lights, two sun visors lights, one dome light, and one cargo light

Just got my satoshi painted and installed today, here's a little sneak peek before I put on the fj60 emblem...
Im planning on cutting apart the letters of the emblems and painting it, got the idea from tacomaworld and [MENTION=55855]zopperman[/MENTION]'s build
What do you guys think will look better, I'm really stuck between the two!
Galactic Grey Color Matched Letters with Red Outline?
or
Red Letters with Galactic Grey Color Matched Outlines?

Turned out great man. I think red outline with galactic grey lettering would be freakin sweet.

I had the body shop do the painting of the grill, I'm planning on painting the emblems myself, seems easy enough and definitely something where there is more room for error (as the parts are so small and I can always just repaint)

Nice. you should post up a few close ups of it. Looks like they did a great job. Again, the ATU paint worked flawlessly for me, especially on the letters you wouldn't even be able to see any minor differences.
Are you going to add the TRD logo from the old grille too?

Yup, I'll be adding the TRD logo once I get it removed, just picked it up from the shop this morning and had to rush to work so didnt get a chance to move it over.
What kind of ATU paint did you use? In brush jar or spray paint or pen?
I was thinking about buying spray paint primer and then getting a in brush jar of galactic grey and a paint pen for the red, and then going back to spray paint for the clear coat.
Do you know if this is ok? I know spray paint and the jar paint is made up of different material so I'm not sure if it'll effect the look of the final result

I would advise that you just get everything from ATU. I used their "plastic parts adhesion promoter" sprayed a coat of titanium silver and then cleared it with their high gloss clear.
I didn't use a regular primer on the letters since they were already smooth. Since mine were chrome, i scuffed them pretty good with a dremel.
I would just get the can of grey from them, it will lay so much better than a brush.

The San Francisco Bay Bridge is closed for the weekend for renovations, but my friends and I were able get on, we pulled over and snapped some pictures on one of the busiest bridges on the west coast!

And yes, I know the emblem is crooked, I just got it today and zip tied them on just to take some pictures

Took my first road trip after installing my satoshi grill, drove ~750 miles in a 24 hour span and this is what the grill looked like afterwards.
all the satoshi grills out there never bother to mention how many more bugs you kill on the highway compared to the stock grill.....

Treated myself to a new muffler for my birthday. Picked up a ProXS Muffler.
When installing it, I also had them delete the resonator and relocate the tail pipe to come out from behind the rear passenger tire. So far it's helped a bit with the sulfer smell when the window is down, but not a huge difference from before. In hindsight, I probably would've kept the resonator on because the drone is starting to annoy me, but I've already reached the point of no return
What size is that muffler? And how's it sound? I have a 14 or so inch one in my basement..

Its a 14 inch. It sounds good but in all honesty, as a daily driver, I'd probably prefer the quietness of the stock muffler. I kinda wanna swap the stock one back in but I don't wanna pay another 50-60 bucks for the muffler shop to revert it back to stock. Not yet at least
