I linked to the 255/80R17 Falkens in my initial post - those should work for you unless you have some really wide rims and/or some wicked negative offset.

The 255/80's are all load range E which is a pretty heavy tire. I daily this 4runner so I try to keep my tires in the P or LT category.
I think E is like 16 lbs heavier per tire which kills MPG even more.
The Atturo trail Blade looks interesting

I have these tires in a 35x12.5. I don't think they are absurdly loud but they were my first A/T tire so I don't have much to base that off of. I just got back from a overlanding/camping event and went on a trail with a good mix of obstacles, mud, water crossing, and mild obstacles. The tires performed amazingly.

Wish they had a cheap set in 16's. Looking for 255 85-16. Not really wanting to spend $350 each for BFG MT's.
