Just bought a used 04 SR5 V6 from a dealership and when i all the papers were signed the salesman gave me only one master key with remote and he said he found only that for the car, after some research came to know that 04 model blank key was a dealer only key for which i had to pay 40+40$ (programming), just called the salesman and asked him to see of he can get in touch with prev ower to see for the keys & guess what he was able to get an extra key + remote from the other salesman who had bought the vehicle into the dealership, so if anyone is in the same boat as me keep calling the salesman, you never know

Just bought a pre-owned 2004 4Runner last night. Dealership was too cheap to include the key FOBs. Their service dept wants $80 for each FOB.

1) Since the FOBs are likely programmable, I'm wondering if there somewhere online where I can purchase them.
2) If they don't include programming instructions, anyone know where I can locate some?

go to key fob .com they have new and used ones with instructions on how to program them.
