Kia does Hell's Gate

ok, it made it up hell's gate. how does that prove its toughness, especially when it lost part of the rear bumper?

that rig won't have a long life if driven on terrain like that often, in that manner (too fast); it simply isn't designed for it.

Kia

Saw this as well a few days ago. At first I was impressed.......then....confused. I hear mixed things about Hells Gate (like don't try it in a stock 4Runner etc....), then I see this video and am like, WTF? They did the escalator too, which just adds to the confusion. Wish they had filmed some of the other famous spots like the hot tubs etc...

Again going back to not really an offroad vehicle or capable in any way shape or form Kia...and did a pretty decent trail STOCK?
But I agree that it definitely couldn't do that often, just impressed for a stock KIA.

That’s nothing. I can do Hell’s Gate in my Sienna!!

Just attach a winch to the front of Sienna and then attach it to a Hummer H1 and let it drag my fat ass up Hell’s Gate!

Hells Gate doesn't look too bad, though, I didn't try it while I was over there. You don't need ground clearance, suspension flex, or grip, the rocks provide plenty. Just a good spotter that's done that obstacle before.
