kiling my cat.......meow....

ok so in the end, i decided not to do this and really i'm 6,000 miles from my truck at the moment and this was really kind of a thought exercise, like i said in the op, i won't do this if the gains aren't worth it, and apparently they are not, thanks a ton to the guys who could keep it in check and just go through it with me to see if it was something i should consider or not...I'm trying to get maximum mpg's from my current configuration , so i started looking at other means besides the other tune up stuff....

continued "thought experiment "

how does the o2 sensor actually work? is this still an old style of o2 sensor where it's basically an open close switch ? or is the sensor actually "swapping" data with the ecu?

i'm thinking the latter due to the O2 Simulator mentioned by cob
but i see no need for that sort of sensor after the cat....

Cats; some people love them others need to use A1

Can't we all just get along?
Ok, going to throw some styrofoam peanuts into the pacific and burn a couple old tires to balance out my carbon surplus from driving my beater 38 mpg corrolla to work most days versus my 4runner.:flamethrwoer2:
