I have King coilvers, JBA UCA's, all sway bars completely removed. Both have 10,000 miles on them. When temperatures dip below zero I have a knock on the drivers side. It occurs over any uneven surface like a manhole, washboards, train tracks, etc.
I took a video this morning over some washboards. I'm not 100% sure that the knock is the Kings but I've torqued everything, greased UCA's, last month had the CV axle replaced. The truck only has 24,000 kms on it.
Is this a noise that could be caused by low nitrogen or possible King's factory oil weight vs the cold temperature ( - 5 F currently)?
The noise only occurs between 0km - 50kms/hr, if I'm going faster than that I cannot hear it. When the temperature is above zero it's not or barely there.
Any input appreciated.
It sounds much worse and prominent in person over the video
